The Gentle Brush of Wings - David Niall Wilson Free Read
Since it is getting such good press, an since the only place this story has ever appeared is in my very limited collection DEFINING MOMENTS - I’ve decided to celebrate the momentary popularity by offering this story as a free read to those who find their way to my website. Normally, when a work makes the preliminary ballot or the final ballot in HWA members make copies available to those who can vote. This time out, I’m offering it to everyone in the hope it will convince you to try a little more of my fiction.

I read about your story on the HWA website so I googled you. Thanks for giving free access! This story was chilling and compelling and I enjoyed reading it.

I kept reading “The Gentle Brush of Wings” wondering what the specimen was all about and then anticipating how far it would go, and like the best stories it went all the way. Interesting and entertaining stuff. And hey, one free read deserves another, so here’s to ya:
