Defining Moments

Defining Moments is one of my proudest accomplishments as an author.  It collects a lot of stories written over a lot of years.  It was published by Welsh publisher Sarob Press – I believe it was their last book…I’m certain it was their last collection.  Defining Moments was nominated for the Bram Stoker Award as a collection. The story “The Gentle Brush of Wings,” first published in this collection, WON the Bram Stoker Award for short fiction.  There are a lot of great memories bound up in this beautiful book.  The wrap-around cover art is by my old Navy buddy Don Paresi (I’m setting up a site for his art now) who also did the covers for my collection ENNUI & Other States of Madness and the novel Ancient Eyes.
