Steve Savile is a Bestseller - Flick Football at Storytellers
This is a quick morning post…weekends are made for other things, I guess. I wanted to take a moment to shout out to my buddy (and collaborator) author Steven Savile, whose Torchwood novel is currently #5 at Amazon.Uk in the Sci-Fi category, #2 in audio books, and #1 at their version (Sweden) of Walmart — and the book isn’t even released yet! Go STEVE.
Very soon I’ll be adding a review of his novel Laughing Boy’s Shadow, which, if you like China Mieville and enjoyed King Rat, you should not miss.
The other thing I wanted to mention was that author Elizabeth Massie has an essay up at Storytellers today talking about childhood imagination, and lamenting that even paper footballs can now be had in prefab cheapness, removing the creativity from the game…
