Just a quick review here.  I was doing some research on promoting your blog (having this new one, and all) and it’s discouraging.  For the most part the big sites require a lot of input and effort on your part to compete for top spots, and they are PLAGUED with spam blogs - blogs that just collect headlines from other blogs and pop all the content into a single meaningless jumble, all to get click-throughs (apparently) on the ads they post.

Then I found RSS Hugger.  These guys have just under 700 blogs listed, but they have a nifty thing in place to prevent spam blogs from overrunning their site.  They either have you review their site here in your blog - as I’m doing - or you can pay $20 for a ten year membership.  Surprising how few money-grubbing spam bots will pay (lol).  Anyway…they have things organized in lists of top blogs, different types of blogs, and you get an rss control panel with which you can adjust how your feed appears to folks using their service.  Very clean interface…nice site.  I’d recommend it over most of the promotional sites as one that seems to honestly care if it provides good service.
