First Tree Discovered on Saturn…Fever Reigns
Okay, this will likely be the least coherent post in some time. I’ve been feverish all day, fighting off the tail end of some sort of flu…went to bed about 1:30 PM and tried to sleep it off. At about 4:00 PM I got up. I sat down. My son took the dog out for me. I heard him calling to me. Didn’t know why…ignored him. I then shook off the brain-sludge when Trish also started calling for me. I went outside.
This, basically, is what I found. While I’ve always been intrigued by outer space, trees on Saturn is not a thing you want in your driveway. The entire back window is smashed. This is actually a posed photo…did I mention the fever? I cleaned it all up, and then realized I should have a cool picture of the branch in the back window where it fell, so I put it back and took the picture. You get the idea. Tomorrow will involve coughing up lungs and driving to the glass place to get my window fixed. Ugh..
Also, shortly I will be posting an interview with author and fellow Storytellers Unplugged contributor Cody Goodfellow…that will be more fun than trees on Saturn.
Trust me on that.

Hope you feel better soon.

I’ve been sick, gotten better, relapsed, and am finally starting to feel better again. I’m canceling ShevaCon this weekend, though; don’t want to push my luck at this point. As yet, I have not found any foreign objects protruding from my car.

I’d watch out…it was like the Spanish Inquisition. No one expected it — the stick, I mean — luckily comprehensive insurance covered it one hundred percent…worst was that I had to venture out very sick to take it in, and get it back.
