This book is very different from most of my other work. Written during my first year of participation in Nanowrimo, it was completed in 31 days and sold in less than 60 days from the initial word being typed. It covers experiences my family had during Hurricane Isabel, a lot of experience from my time in the US Navy, and is based on a chance comment by Trish:

“I wonder why a hurricane has never disappeared into the Bermuda Triangle?”

The other diversion from my “usual” is that this is a very ‘clean’ read. There is no sex, controlled violence (thriller style, man against nature) and no cursing. This was written so that my 14 year old daughter could read along - and it was picked up by Five Star, the publisher, for a Large Print edition under their “clean reads” line. It’s appropriate, in other words, for young adult through very old adult entertainment.
