DEFINING MOMENTS - New Review at Count Gore’s Tomb
J. L. Comeau, mistress of the Tomb of Dark Delights over at Count Gore de Vol’s web site has posted a new review of my Sarob Press collection, “Defining Moments.” You can find out a lot about that collection here at my site by clicking on the Short Stories link to the right (or by clicking HERE to go straight to the page for the collection. This was sold out pre-publication, but a very few copies are still available - some local bookstores here got some copies…they can be purchased through me. Next Saturday night we’ll find out whether I can change it from my Bram Stoker Award Nominated collection, to my Bram Stoker Award WINNING collection. Fingers are crossed.
J. L. says…
“
DEFINING MOMENTS by David Niall Wilson
If I were asked to define with one word the many wonderful works of fiction that David Niall Wilson has created, I would have to respond “authentic”. As I commented to Mr. Wilson in a recent correspondence, he is the “real deal”. By that I mean to say that I have never been let down or disappointed by any short story, novella, novelette or novel I have ever read under his byline. This author does not write down to his audience, characters or craft. His fiction seems to appear by magic, whole and intact, without a hint of artifice.”

And onward we go. The goal is nearly met. I wanted to sell my Cletus Book in a week. Tomorrow is the deadline…

I like Judy’s reviews; she has a way of accentuating positive qualities without blowing smoke. This is a nice one.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I get a good number of reviews that sound like words just being spewed to no end…it is obvious from her reviews that she reads the work - and really enjoys it. You can’t value something like that highly enough.
